Indulge in the aromatic flavours of authentic Japanese curry with this lightly spiced Torokeru Kare Amakuchi とろけるカレー甘口.
Seasoned with curry spices, meat extracts and umami-rich vegetables, this melt-in-your-mouth curry roux has a slightly sweet flavour and just enough spice to warm your palate.
Using this soft, tasty block of Torokeru Curry couldn't be easier: prepare your dish and stir the desired amount of Japanese curry into a little hot liquid. Your curry will then take on a thicker consistency, adding a subtle new flavour to many meat and rice dishes, or even vegetarian dishes.
It can also be used as a base for a thick Udon noodle soup, just as we like them in Japan!
