Furikaké ふりかけ is a seasoning that is sprinkled directly over hot rice. There is an infinite variety to enhance and vary the taste of the rice that the Japanese eat every day at every meal.
Since 1901, Tanaka has been producing furikaké, which the Japanese savour at breakfast: they particularly appreciate its umami.....irresistibly delicious flavour.
