Furikake with green vegetables, bonito & nori, to garnish your white rice
Furikake ふりかけ is a seasoning in powder form to be sprinkled directly on hot rice. There is an infinite variety to enhance and vary the tastes of the rice that the Japanese eat daily at every meal.
Mishima三島 has been producing furikake since 1949, which the Japanese enjoy with relish at breakfast: they particularly appreciate its salty taste.....irresistible tasty!
This variety Nameshi 菜めしis a delicious blend of typical Hiroshima greens, light bonito flakes and kombu seaweed flakes, ideal for quickly adding a touch of crunch and umami to your rice bowls but also your onigiri dumplings!
You can also sprinkle it on your pasta and salads and give them a distinctly Japanese flavour!
