Ao nori is seaweed that is dried and then flaked. It is low in calories and very rich in nutrients (iodine, calcium and magnesium) and vitamins.

In Japan, Aonori sea vegetable is generously sprinkled on okonomiyaki cabbage patties, takoyaki octopus dumplings, yakisoba or yakiudon fried noodles.
