Kinako is first and foremost simply roasted soybeans reduced to a fine powder, widely used in traditional Japanese baking: it delicately coats mochi, dango, wagashi and gives a gourmet finish to a multitude of dishes served hot or cold.

The light roasted taste of this flour is reminiscent of those of peanuts, hazelnuts and buckwheat: these are umami flavors to add to many preparations.

Very easy to use, you can incoporate or sprinkle it in both sweet and savoury recipes: 3 to 4 tablespoons in yoghurt, 3 to 4 tablespoons for 200ml of milk or plant milk, in coffee, cocoa, on your ice creams and ... even in miso soup, natto, vegetable dishes or salads.

Rich in protein so excellent for vegan foodies, and rich in amino acids, kinako has its own sweetening power: a good idea to reduce sugar in your daily consumption.

Try this soy flour Magokoro Kinako まごころきなこ and you won't be able to live without it!
