The chirashi sushi (which means scattered sushi) is a dish consisting of a bowl of sushi rice splinkle with vegetables, fish and seaweed.
It can serve as an hors d'oeuvre or main course.
It contains 2 vegetable pouches + 2 sachets of cutted nori seaweed and grilled sesame.
There are simmered lotus root, carrot, of kampyo (dried gourd skin), bamboo shoots and shiitake mushrooms in the bags.
How to use:
Prepare the rice, about 600g for 2-3 people, garnish already contains rice vinegar.
In a bowl, pour the contents of vegetable pouch in the rice and stir well.
Then sprinkle a bag of nori seaweed. Chirashi sushi is ready !!
You can also add pieces of tuna, salmon or eel, ginger, sliced cucumbers, scrambled eggs etc ...
