Preparation tip:
1/ Rinse the rice lightly in cold water
2/ Soak the rice in a pan of water at the rate of 1 part rice to 1.5 parts water for 10minutes.
- For one person: 1 glass of rice to 1.5 glasses of water. The amount of water can be adjusted according to the desired result: for firmer rice, decrease the volume of water and for stickier, more tender rice, increase the volume of water.
3/ bring the water to a boil over high heat with a lid and then reduce to a low heat for 15 minutes.
4/ Once the rice has absorbed the water well, remove the pan from the heat and leave for 10 minutes, still with the lid on.
5/ Before serving the rice, gently aerate the rice with a spatula without crushing the grains.
